Pressure Testing Service
Third Party Pressure Testing
Pressure testing of BOP components is a critical part of drilling and well control operations, not only for detecting leaks but to ensure all equipment is operating and functioning correctly. When using a third party to conduct pressure tests a certain amount of liability is removed from the operator. With a third party operator you can be assured that all components are fully tested and functional, all details of the pressure test are properly recorded and detailed. All of our equipment follows strict protocols for recalibration and functionality.
There have been incidents in the past where, when not using a third party that some tests have not been properly conducted or short cuts have occurred. Some of this is from human error and in some instances it is the result of being over looked, as in its not a severe enough leak or there are time constraints to get the job done.
When we are used for pressure testing services every test is documented and detailed, showing all items being tested in each test. What the starting pressure was, duration of the test, pressure loss over duration of the test and any and all steps taken to perform the test and any repairs made to said items being tested.
All of our equipment is certified and recalibrated to manufacturers or governing body specification, which ever is strictest.
We have policies and procedures for all aspects of tests to be performed and are able to adjust our procedures to customers requirements if the need arises.
Benefits:
Up to date certified equipment
Experienced operators
Digital charting and recording options
Standard mechanical charting and gauges
Time saving, frees up the rig crew to work on other needs while testing is being done
Testing done in a more efficient manor
All tests properly charted and recorded

Adaptability to work on other tests as repairs are being completed on leaks on an earlier test
Ability to identify possible issue that may arise in the future and give you the ability to perform preventative maintenance
Being able to identify more efficient ways to conduct pressure test saving valuable rig time
Cost savings
Knowledge that all tests were performed to meet or exceed all regulated guidelines
